EDENHOPE COURTHOUSE

Visit the Edenhope Courthouse built 1878 with magistrate's bench, prisoner dock and lock up. Discover its many stories including the Maryvale murders and the history of Edenhope.

The Old Court House, a listed building, has been preserved in immaculate condition. Adjacent is the wooden prison lockup built in 1860-1870, located in a pretty country garden.

​Edenhope Visitor Information Centre is situated in the former court house. The centre also contains local history books, souvenir tea towels, farm fresh eggs and honey. Come and see our friendly volunteers and discover Edenhope, its heritage and cricket trail.
