West of Edenhope
A short drive from Edenhope will take you to Apsley. Enjoy nature at Newlands Bush-walk or head out to the beautiful Lake Bringalbert. Heading further east to Naracoorte are the World Heritage Naracoorte Cave and the Sheep's Back Museum. The Naracoorte Swimming Lake is a great place for families with free entry.  Also check out the Geoffrey Carran red-tail cockatoo mural in Naracoorte and the Rowena Martinich mural in Apsley.
NB: You can not take fruit and vegetables across the border into SA and beware of the 30 minute behind time zone and that

North of Edenhope
Travel north for a pleasant drive to Lake Charlegrark, a popular spot for water sports, nearby is the Goroke Silo Art. Continue on through the Little Desert on the Kaniva - Edenhope sealed rd to Kaniva. Home to the Sheep Art Trail linking the Silo Art to the Wetlands and Fauna Park. Also worth a visit is the Kaniva Puppet Shop.

South of Edenhope
Harrow is just a short drive from Edenhope. It is a historic town on the banks of the Glenelg River. The Harrow Discovery Centre and the historic Hermitage Hotel are well worth a visit. Many main street buildings are well maintained and make for a pleasant walk. 
Baileys Rocks are a popular day trip - a series of ancient granite boulders in a dry creek bed within the northern section of Dergholm State Park. Nearby is Bilston's Tree, an 800 year old River Red Gum and the Pub in the Scrub (open 7 days) is renowned for its wood fired pizzas.
